 Susan Lindley Caynor

Susan began serving FBC Lauderdale in October 2009.  She is the daughter of Mrs. Antonia (Toni) Lindley of Frankfurt Germany and the late James B. Lindley of Lauderdale, Ms.  Currently residing in the Dalewood community at Lauderdale with her husband John of over 31 years, their three cats Spazzie, Foxey & Bruder, and dog Little-Bit.  John is a native of Clarksburg West Virginia and is retired Navy and government civil service and recently retired contract instructor from Naval Technical Training Center onboard NAS Meridian
          Susan began her adult association with directing church music as a volunteer director at the NAS Chapel where she sang, played instruments, and led congregational singing. Simultaneously, she served the Lauderdale United Methodist Church (LUMC) as pianist for over four years.  She has much experience playing for weekly services, weddings, funerals, and memorial services.  Finding her voice and a renewed calling to serve Jesus Christ in 1996, she served as Interim Music Director, leading the adult choir and worship for over a nine month period and at various intervals when the permanent director was absent.  Aug 2003 – Dec 2007, she served as Worship Leader for the First Church of God in Meridian.  Jan 2008 – Jan 2009, she served as Interim Minister of Music at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Meridian.  Feb 2009 – Sep 2009, she served as Worship Leader at Bethany Baptist Church in the Whynot community.

Additionally, from  2001 - 2010 she sang as baritone / bass singer in the Wesley Belles, singing ambassadors for the Wesley House Community Center, and has had the privilege to sing at various functions around the Meridian and Gulf Coast area raising money for Wesley House as well as Katrina victims.   She loves to sing and share her love for the Lord and looks forward to growing with FBCL.



PIANIST - Jodi Baldner

 Jodi Paldner

Jodi Baldner began serving as church pianist January 2011 after serving over 20 years at First Church of God, Meridian MS.    She is the daughter of Reverend James K, Williams and the late Hilda Williams.  In 2012, she retired after 20 years of service from the Meridian School System.   She is married to Bill Baldner, native of Ohio and has a daughter, LeAnna, who now resides in Memphis TN.  FBCL is blessed to have her on staff.
